4 Things to do at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa in Jamaica
BY MARK CHESNUT
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing all that the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa in Jamaica has to offer. This all-inclusive, family-friendly beachfront property impressed me with its extensive amenities and stunning natural setting.
My full hotel review of the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton appears in TravelAge West (click to read it), but it's time now to share some of my own personal favorite things about the hotel, as well as an Instagram Reel travel video I made that showcases some of the resort's best features.
If you're considering a Caribbean vacation for the coming winter season, give my list of 4 things to do at Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton.
1. Enjoy the Sunsets

The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort is ideally situated along the picturesque Caribbean coast, making it the perfect spot to witness stunning sunsets. On two different evenings, I headed to the resort's tranquil Sunset Cove beach to watch the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant oranges and reds. This serene, blissfully uncrowded beachfront setting provided the ideal backdrop for this daily natural display.
2. Savor the Flavors
As a large all-inclusive resort, the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton offers an impressive variety of dining choices — so regardless of your culinary preferences, you'll probably find something to enjoy there. I particularly liked the steaks at the upscale El Dorado steakhouse and the bold Jamaican flavors at the Xaymaica restaurant. There's even a sports bar with a self-serve buffet featuring hot dogs and ice cream. With 11 restaurants and 15 themed bars on the property, guests are never short on options for unique gastronomic experiences.

3. Relax at the Spa
The elegant, classically-inspired Zentropia Spa is a fantasy of soaring columns, peaceful pools and statues that will make you feel you're in Ancient Rome. I found it to be a beautiful haven for massages, hydrotherapy, and unwinding in the large pool.
4. Float on the River

One of my favorite experiences took place outside of the hotel. While the Grand Palladium provides lots of onsite activities and entertainment, I was eager to explore the surrounding region as well. My day trip to the Martha Brae River was a highlight, as I leisurely floated on a traditional bamboo raft down a gentle waterway lined with lush, tropical greenery. The postcard-perfect scenery of towering trees and picturesque banks made me feel like I was living a commercial for Jamaica tourism.
